Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Dental Hygienist at Marion Smile Center, located in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive oral care, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing. Responsibilities include performing periodontal assessments, patient education on oral hygiene, assisting in dental procedures, taking dental X-rays, and maintaining accurate treatment records. The individual will collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preventive dental care, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Ability to conduct thorough periodontal assessments and provide oral hygiene education
- Experience assisting in dental procedures and handling dental instruments
- Capability to take and develop dental X-rays with attention to accuracy
- Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed and accurate patient treatment records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on patient comfort and education
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- CPR certification is required
- Familiarity with dental office management software is a plus
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care in conformance with ethical and professional standards
