Responsibilities
- Greet patients, check them in/out, and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance and collect co-pays/payments
- Answer phones and assist with general office tasks
- Obtain patient histories and prepare patients for exams
- Perform basic eye testing (training provided)
- Assist doctors with exams and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and support patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Medical or ophthalmic experience preferred (not required)
- Willingness to learn clinical skills
