Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop X-rays as needed
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and documentation accurately
- Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve office efficiency.
Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental assisting preferred
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices
- Experience with chairside assisting and taking X-rays
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
