This is a contracted position at Marion County Health and Human Services.
The Marion County Behavioral Health Division is seeking an experienced Outpatient Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services for at least 16 hours per week to individuals with severe mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, collaborative, and have at least three years of experience delivering psychiatric services in an outpatient setting. This role includes providing skilled medical assessment and supervision of individuals who use therapeutic medications as part of their individualized treatment plans.
The psychiatrist will work as part of a skilled and supportive interdisciplinary treatment team focused on delivering high-quality, person-centered care. Comprehensive administrative support is provided, including nursing services, dictation support, and clinical consultation from our Medical Director as well as a team of Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners.
The Psychiatrist will be independently contracted, reimbursed at an hourly rate, and must maintain (in good standing) the following: Oregon License, DEA Certificate, DMAP number, and own professional liability insurance. Fringe benefits are not offered to contractors.
