The Web Design Programmer Analyst’s role is to design, develop, maintain, update, create, and project manage web technologies in support of business and customer processing requirements. Effectively assist in communicating web standards and procedures to the District Technology Office.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – Graduation from a standard high school or equivalency diploma.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum four years of verifiable successful experience in web technologies including design, content management, and development in SQL, HTML, ASP, JavaScript, and .NET.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or additional training in a related field may be substituted for experience.
Computer Skills:
- Basic understanding and knowledge of use of current technology, as required for the position.
- Experience in data entry and Microsoft Suite.
Certificates and/or License(s):
- Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license or obtain within 30 work days and the ability to drive.
Other Requirements:
- Availability for occasional weekend service, after hours support and 24/7 support during emergency and critical time periods

- Manifest a professional code of ethics and values at all times.
- Support activities designed to achieve priority goals identified through the District’s strategic plan.
- Primary analyst in coding and developing websites using approved applications for District and school websites and hosted domains.
- Design and create custom graphics and visual assets for web and digital platforms.
- Conduct routine software audits of web services infrastructure (servers) for compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and configuration guidelines. • Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
- Work with team members to develop efficient database structures and configurations that support optimal application performance and scalability. Monitor security and intrusion prevention for all web services infrastructure devices.
- Troubleshoot complex web design by coordinating the involvement of Technology and Information Systems (TIS) staff members, vendors and departments as necessary.
- Perform system capacity planning by monitoring system performance, hard drive capacity and usage, as well as system configuration for all web services infrastructure devices.
- Consult with staff in gathering requirements for design and implementation of applications integrating with web services infrastructure.
- Create and maintain internet applications.
- Escalate application issues to appropriate TIS personnel and provide appropriate documentation of troubleshooting steps completed.
- Develop and publish approved documentation to support technology staff and school sites.
- Apply relevant data privacy practices and laws.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of effective interactions between schools, District administration, and the TIS department regarding web design and updating existing web infrastructure services.
- Provide direction and guidance to technicians and designated school/department contacts for web services.
- Use software applications to troubleshoot remote computers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
