Marion Ag Service is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager! This role serves as the operational hub between sales, agronomy, dispatch, operations, and accounting to ensure customers receive exceptional service while maximizing efficiency, profitability, and safety. The Sales Operations Manager will oversee dispatch operations, scheduling, inventory coordination, customer service resolution, and operational performance. This position plays a critical role in managing field application activities, optimizing resources, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced, weather-dependent environment.
What We're Looking For:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agribusiness, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of experience in agricultural operations, dispatch, logistics, or commercial operations
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience coordinating field crews, equipment, and customer schedules
• Ability to make sound decisions in dynamic, time-sensitive environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software systems; experience with agricultural ERP or dispatch systems preferred
• Knowledge of agricultural application operations, DOT compliance, and safety regulations preferred
• Current pesticide consultant license and ability to write commercial orders highly preferred
