ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Qualified applicants will ideally possess a minimum of 1 year of residential service electrical work experience
- Working knowledge of the care and use of standard hand tools used in the construction and maintenance of electrical installations
- Assist the electrician onsite operations
- Cut and assemble conduit fittings
- Assist in running wires and cleanup after job completion
- Adhere to all safety policies and protocol
- Applicant should have previous electrical experience and be able to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to follow directions well, and demonstrate a sound work ethic
- Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness in dealing with customers
- Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions for prolonged periods of time and work while in kneeling, sitting, or prone positions depending upon assignment
- Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions, work with others, and deal with customers in a courteous manner
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as electrical helper or in a similar role
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
