Marinus Analytics is seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining modern web applications, working within cloud-based environments, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS
- Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.
- Build intuitive and engaging user interfaces using React.
- Develop and support applications built on the Django (Python) framework.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate front-end components with web services.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code review processes to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and full-stack application issues.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy applications within Linux-based AWS cloud environments.
- Work with PostgreSQL databases to support application functionality and performance.
- Work with advanced search capabilities using Opensearch.
EXPERIENCE
- Must be currently enrolled or have graduated with a BS or MS degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including: C/C , Java, or Python.
- Experience building crawlers
- Experience building web applications
- This position is remote or flex (depending on your preference), but the candidate must live in Pittsburgh, Pa
