- Analyze, write, and update comprehensive operating policies and procedures to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with various business units to maintain existing policies and procedures and develop new policies in response to regulatory changes or company initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with teams within the organization to solicit feedback and synthesize multiple perspectives into comprehensive policy proposals.
- Identify potential enhancements and the need for development of new policies and procedures.
- Participate in department and project meetings, document results, and follow up to ensure timely completion of agreed actions.
- Practice effective project and time management skills by creating tasks and timelines to meet deadlines.
- Draft announcements to inform employees of policy updates.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or similar degree or equivalent years of experience in related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of technical writing experience with knowledge of current industry standards for technical writing, appropriate English grammar and usage, and editing and proofreading.
- Experience working in a corporate setting with demonstrated success meeting deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience with web-based technologies.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proofreading skills.
- Outstanding and meticulous organization skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and timelines and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning.
Salary : $58,320 - $71,000
