The Brand Marketing & Sales Associate leads the planning and coordination of marketing and sales projects for Cruisers Yachts, working with the MarineMax marketing team to execute these initiatives. This role manages cross-functional projects, ensures the successful delivery of campaigns, events, content, and dealer support, strengthens dealer engagement and the customer experience, aligns all efforts with MarineMax’s strategic direction, and maintains a strong presence at the Cruisers Yachts factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and oversee marketing and sales project planning, coordination, timelines, and execution. Monitor progress, adjust priorities as needed, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as liaison between marketing, sales, engineering, production, and dealer teams; coordinating and executing project meetings, deliverables, and communications.
- Program & Content Oversight: Develop, implement, and optimize marketing programs and sales support tools, including Cruisers Yachts App, advertising, CRM, website, and content strategy.
- Event Project Leadership: Plan, manage, and execute dealer meetings, sales trainings, photoshoots, and boat shows. Coordinate logistics and post-event analysis.
- Content Creation & Capture: Capture photo and video content at the factory, events, and on location; independently write original content for campaigns, press releases, speeches, web, social media, editorials, newsletters, and product storytelling.
- Marketing Collateral: Supervise and participate in the creation, design, writing, and production of brochures, digital content, public relations releases, dealer-focused newsletters, editorial, and brand communications.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze and report on marketing projects, sales initiatives, campaign effectiveness, and customer feedback; provide recommendations for process improvement.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand standards and messaging across physical and digital assets, dealer-facing materials, events, factory tours, and community engagement.
- Vendor, Agency & Department Coordination: Manage proposals, providing materials and editorial with advertising partners, media agencies, and vendors; act as main contact with engineering for new product launches and current product updates to drive efforts with marketing and sales.
- Dealer Support: Oversee dealer agreements, Docusign routing, uphold CRM/database processes, branded inventory, and distribution of promotional materials.
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis, pricing reviews, and summarize insights for product positioning and leadership reporting.
- Factory & Event Presence: Maintain a strong, visible presence at Cruisers Yachts factories; support preparation for new and current products, events, content creation, and cross-team meetings.
- Travel: May attend major boat shows, select dealer events, brand meetings, photoshoots, and training as business requires (10–20% expected travel).
- Other: Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.
- Demonstrated project management ability with experience leading marketing and sales projects across teams and vendors.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for luxury industry clientele and internal/external stakeholders.
- Advanced skills in marketing communications, digital content, campaign management, website and social media, CRM, and content creation (writing, photography, videography).
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with shifting timelines and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Ability to set priorities and work independently to meet deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years’ experience in project management, marketing, or sales.
- Ability to work in office, factory, and event environments.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking; factory floor engagement wearing required PPE.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Approximately 10–20% annually, including boat shows, dealer meetings, brand meetings, photoshoots, and events.
