Duties
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in all entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accounted for.
- Prepare financial statements and reports as required by management.
- Execute general ledger reconciliation to verify the accuracy of accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts based on financial data.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures while identifying areas for improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and management.
