Position: LCAC Electrical/Electronic Maintenance Technician USN
Location: Panama City Beach, FL

MSCorp currently supports the Navy as a prime contractor for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) and the PMS 317 Amphibious Warfare group. In preparation to support both the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) and LCAC 100 Class Landing Craft maintenance and repair contract, MSCorp is looking for candidates to fill many positions.
Position Summary: In this role you will serve as an Electrical/Electronic Maintenance Technician working on electrical or electronics maintenance, repair, and modifications. To apply for this position, one is not required to be able to perform all of the duties and responsibilities identified below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and the performance of preventive maintenance on electrical power generation systems
- Maintain external and internal communications, internal network, wiring, coax, antenna, power generation, conditioning, and distribution systems
- The ability to identify different connector types (MIL-SPEC, circular, rectangular, D-sub, etc.) and their specific applications. Trained in performing:
o Pin Extraction & Insertion
o Crimping techniques for attaching wires to connector pins
o Soldering: IPC A-610 certification
o Connector Cleaning & Inspection
o Wiring Standards & Color Codes
o Testing & Troubleshooting using multimeters and other test equipment to diagnose
- Perform scheduled craft maintenance following written/verbal process and procedures
- Know how to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and wear safety gear.
- Perform other maintenance duties as directed by the maintenance manager or task lead
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to perform electrical/electronic assembly of components
- US Citizenship and be able to communicate the English language
- Be able to obtain and hold a secret clearance
- Ability to pass the US Coastguard physical exam
- Work as a team with others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current/Active Secret clearance
- Experience working on US Navy shipboard electrical/electronic systems
- Prior LCAC electrical/electronic maintenance
- Prior experience working from drawings and technical documentation
Education: High School Diploma minimum (Technical Degree a plus)

Citizenship/Clearance U.S. Citizenship/Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance or get an inter secret clearance before starting
