Job Summary
This position will design, build, and maintain the Credit Union’s automation & AI solutions, including documenting workflows, initiating process improvements, automating workflows (RPA), creating AI Agents, and developing Agentic AI processes. This position will partner with other departments and stakeholders in a collaborative manner to create efficiencies and improve processes. This position will perform a key role in Marine FCU strategic goals of process improvement through the use of AI and Automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI-driven automation solutions across all business units, such as back-office operations, lending, member service, collections, compliance, and fraud.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify automation opportunities and access feasibility using AI and automation technologies.
- Build and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) workflows to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and financial industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Design, develop, and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows to meet business requirements.
- Use complex technical source material to develop, write, and revise reference documentation for both end-users and system administrators.
- Ensure data privacy, governance, and security in all AI and automation implementations
- Proactively identify new automation opportunities and regularly review existing workflows for optimization.
- Provide Standard Operating Procedures detailing the administration and configuration of various systems as needed.
- Establish methods to ensure the proper testing of workflow installations, updates, and changes.
- The position will provide backup to the Business Intelligence Specialist II, including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric support
- Stay current with Marine FCU products & services, policies & procedures, and organizational objectives.
- Participate in Marine FCU in-house training sessions, professional seminars and continuing education.
- Help other areas of the Information Technology department as needed.
- Perform other duties, within or outside the assigned area, appropriate for the skills of the employee and the efficient and effective operation of Marine FCU.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics) or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is the minimum acceptable educational level.
- Two to three years’ financial institution experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
- Ability to solve practical problems and provide logical solutions
- Possess strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Possess strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, or predictive analytics.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy.
- Certifications in AI/ML or automation tools.
