We provide paid training on our products, parts, systems, and procedures.This could be a great fit if you have experience in customer service, retail, auto parts, hardware, counter sales, wholesale distribution, warehouse operations, inventory, or order entry and enjoy helping customers solve problems.Benefits & PerksAs a full-time employee, you'll have access to a competitive benefits package that includes:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysCompany paid profit-sharing retirement planEmployee Discount programsPaid trainingBenefit eligibility and plan terms are subject to the applicable plan documents and Company policies.What You'll DoYou'll be a key member of our counter team, helping customers in person and over the phone while keeping daily counter operations running smoothly.Responsibilities include:Help walk-in customers and customers picking up ordersAnswer incoming customer calls and assist with product and parts questionsHelp customers identify the parts and products they needEnter customer orders into our computer systemPrepare invoices and quotesProcess returns and order adjustmentsTrack and follow up on open customer ordersCommunicate order and product information to customersOpen and close the counter each dayOpen and close the building on SaturdaysSecure cash and checks from the day's receipts at closingAssist with counter and warehouse operations as neededWork closely with other team members and departmentsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is dependable, responsible, comfortable working with customers, and willing to learn.Previous experience in one or more of these areas is helpful:Customer serviceRetail or counter salesAuto parts, hardware, plumbing, HVAC, marine, or other parts-related environmentsWarehouse or distributionInventoryOrder entryMarine experience is NOT required.You should also have:High school diploma or GEDStrong customer service and communication skillsBasic computer and data-entry skillsAbility to learn product and parts informationGood attention to detailAbility to work accurately in a busy environmentDependable attendance and a team-oriented attitudeScheduleTypical peak-season schedule:Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PMSaturday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PMSchedule and work hours may vary based on seasonal and business needs.Physical RequirementsThis position includes both counter and warehouse support.
