You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the S-7 DIRECTORATE of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting inspections, evaluating safety hazards, recommending effective countermeasures AND providing safety consultation and assistance concerning the application of safety policies and practices.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting safety inspections and evaluations of activities throughout all phases of combat operations; AND assists in accident investigations, reporting, and analyses of tactical training related injury and property damage accidents.

- Designing or modifying workplaces, processes, products, or other systems to control or eliminate hazards.
- Inspecting or surveying workplaces, processes, products, or other systems for compliance with established safety and occupational health policies or standards and to identify potential new hazards.
- Training of workers, supervisors, managers, or other safety and occupational health personnel in safety or occupational health subjects.
- Work in occupational fields such as industrial hygienist, safety engineer, fire prevention engineer, health physicist, and occupational health nurse.
