We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Experienced Marine Technician to join our award-winning team and contribute to our continued success. Must be Yamaha and/or Mercury certified. Work Schedule Tuesday - Saturday.
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and installation of marine engines and equipment on and/or off-site.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of marine engines and systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on marine vessels.
- Install and test new marine equipment, systems and electronics..
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with outboard engines and systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Assist with complex repairs and installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Yamaha and Mercury certified.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of CDK Lightspeed
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
- Forklift certified
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
