Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Frederick, MD, for a Sales Representative specializing in the Aerospace & Defense sectors. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the aerospace and defense industries. Daily responsibilities include managing sales pipelines, preparing proposals, conducting client presentations, and working closely with teams to meet targets. The role also involves staying informed on market trends and customer needs to proactively pursue new sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales, business development, and relationship building, preferably within the aerospace and defense industries
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense products, particularly switches, relays, and circuit breakers
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred. 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 standards is a plus
