We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating potential issues with professionalism
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, maintaining clear communication
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have valid BSIS Guard Card with Powers to Arrest & Appropriate Use of Force certificate
- Ability to perform necessary physical duties, i.e., walking, standing, making necessary rounds, operating motorized vehicle.
- Must have basic computer skills
- Preferred : First Aid / CPR and AED certified
