Duties
- Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards
- Serve meals to residents with courtesy, professionalism, and a focus on customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and sanitation procedures
- Support food handling, bussing tables, and clearing dishes to ensure efficient meal service
- Follow proper food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
- Contribute to a positive dining atmosphere by providing friendly customer service and assisting residents as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Culinary or food service experience that demonstrates knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques
- Familiarity with dietary department operations and food safety regulations
- Strong time management skills to efficiently coordinate meal prep and service tasks
- Experience with cleaning, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols is advantageous
- Knowledge of food production processes including cooking, plating, and serving in a healthcare or senior living environment is beneficial
- Prior dietary aide or food handling experience that highlights attention to detail and customer service excellence

Pay: $18.00 - $25.45 per hour
