Job Summary
The School to Career Liaison works with schools and employers to provide career exploration and development opportunities for students. The Liaison plans and develops career-related activities for students and teachers, and encourages partnerships with local businesses and community organizations. This position will be assigned to support San Rafael City Schools. The expected work hours are from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Work location will be two days per week at San Rafael and Terra Linda High Schools, and one day per week at Madrone High School, subject to change based on district/program needs. The position follows the school calendar with approximately 10-12 summer workdays per year. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and student-focused professional who is passionate about preparing students for college and career success. They excel at building partnerships, coordinating work-based learning opportunities, and delivering engaging career readiness activities. They are organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse students, families, staff, employers, and community partners. A commitment to equity, inclusion, and maintaining confidentiality is essential.
