PRIORITY SCREENING DATE: January 26, 2026 Open Until Filled POSITION OVERVIEW Under direction, plans, schedules, assigns, supervises and participates in the work of custodial services; inspects ongoing sanitation of District building and facilities for completion and quality of custodial services; maintains inventory and orders custodial supplies and equipment; arranges and oversees furniture, equipment, supplies and material moves, and setup and breakdown for regular and special events; performs related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Graduation from high school or an accredited training program in custodial services and at least two years of responsible custodial experience, including one year of lead or supervisory experience; or An equivalent combination of training and experience; and A demonstrated commitment to equity-minded practices in support of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, college staff, and community members. Licenses, Certificates and Other Requirements: A valid California driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance program Forklift certification must be acquired within 60 days of employment or promotion.
