Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Outreach Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing outreach programs to engage with local communities and promote our services
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective program delivery
- Ensuring compliance with Boys and Girls Club policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service to members and parents
- Working collaboratively with other organizations to achieve organizational goals
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or GED
- A.A. degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Development, or related field
- Verifiable progressive training/education in areas such as program leadership, staff/volunteer coordination, and technical skills
- Minimum 2 years experience working with youth recreation, education, or related field
- Ability to work with diverse populations, including children, elderly, physically and mentally disabled, and people with health problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
