SUMMARY: The Lab Extraction Technician performs duties as assigned within fulfillment department operations including staging orders for shipment, checks & balances, product vault management, and regulatory compliance that adheres to the regulations established by the Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act and the Illinois Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the order fulfillment daily operations and METRC/Leaflink database platforms to include order entry, manifest administration, inventory tracking, and shipping.
- Completes the fulfillment ops plan by floating between necessary facility departments per the direction of the Fulfillment Lead.
- Understanding that all sub departments within production are tied to measurable performance metrics and strives to achieve expected staging speed and fulfillment goals through focused attention to the job at hand.
- Fulfillment Agent will ensure he/she is always busy working supply chain logistics and/or working on other selected inventory and fulfillment related tasks.
- Assist the Fulfillment Lead in executing the physical tasks of order staging and shipping and other fulfillment related duties as per direction of supervisor.
- Notifies direct supervisor if potential bottlenecks and/or issues related to production operations arise.
- Maintains professional and technical cannabis knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing legitimate publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Ensures the stability and reputation of the marijuana cultivation facility by complying with legal requirements at the local and state levels.
- Always follows good manufacturing procedures.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 yr cannabis industry experience working within packaging and/or fulfillment ops
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Must be 21 or older
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check annually
- Certain situations require that work is completed on weekends, afterhours, and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform the following physical tasks: Periods of prolonged sitting and standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
