What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dermatology Medical Assistant position at Marilyn Taylor Medical Personnel, Inc.?
ABOUT THE POSITION
- This is an upscale practice, so candidates need to be comfortable working with high-profile patients
- Assist practitioners with in-office dermatology procedures, preparing injectables and full-body care treatments
- This is a small team so everyone covers each other to ensure a smooth patient experience so requires experience both Front and Back Office
- Staff has longevity so candidates must have a strong and consistent work history
- Part of the week handle Front Office including phones, appointments, referrals and collecting payments
- Rest of the week Back Office rooming patients, assisting with procedures, handling supplies, monitoring medications, mixing injectables, numbing for laser treatments
REQUIREMENTS
- MUST have prior experience in a private medical practice
- Some experience with dermatology, day-spa, aesthetics, or plastic surgery
- Computer proficient including experience working with an EMR/EHR system
- Bright and warm personality, team player mentality, good people and customer service skills, organized, detail oriented.
- Must be reliable with good attendance and punctuality
- Professional level of speech, writing and interpersonal communication
- Clear, natural looking skin without the appearance of enhancements
- Interest in skincare!
SCHEDULE SALARY AND BENEFITS
- M-Th, 8a-5p Fri 8a-4p $28/hr DOE
- Benefits include 70% paid medical insurance, scrubs provided, 401(k) match of 4%, parking, PTO
