What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver (per diem) position at Marillac Residence?
Job Summary
We are a Level IV Rest Home in Wellesley seeking a reliable person to join our team in a per diem capacity, as a Driver. The individual in this position will use our vehicles to transport residents to and from doctors' appointments, shopping and other excursions, primarily in the Boston/Newton area.
Work hours will vary depending on the residents needs but could be up to 15 hours in a week. Generally, appointments are between 8:00am - 3:00pm.
Qualifications
- Must be an experienced driver and comfortable driving in all weather conditions
- Valid MA drivers license with an excellent driving record
- Must have strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence driving in and around Boston
- Must be at least 18 years old and hold a GED or equivalent
- Must speak English
- Variations in schedule is expected week to week, so flexibility is also required
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
