Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, lively manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure precise billing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent over-intoxication.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or small plates during busy hours.
- Support catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions by setting up bars and providing excellent service throughout the event.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred; retail math and basic math skills are essential.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred; background in brewing or food service is a plus.
- Must be 18 years or older with valid food handling certification where applicable; night shifts may be required.
