Job Responsibilities And Duties
- Demonstrate technical skills in culinary preparation and cooking procedure.
- Prepare short-order dishes consistently, adhering to recipes and standards.
- Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature and meets quality standards.
- Collaborates with Chef de Cuisine to fulfill orders and inventory needs.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem solve during service.
- Ticket comprehension is a must.
- Ability to follow standardized portion & control.
- Adhere to proper food service and cleanliness standards.
- Maintains kitchen equipment & station cleanliness.
- Communicates effectively to Chef de Cuisine regarding product needs, schedule availability, and other special circumstances.
- Communicates respectfully to all staff members, managers, and club members.
- Appearance & demeanor must always be clean and professional.
- Maintain a positive & team-oriented attitude.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a professional Kitchen.
- Understands cooking vocabulary and instructions.
- Performs well in a high-stress environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to continually bend, reach, twist and use hands and arms.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass background check and E-Verify.
- Must have reliable transportation.
