Role Description
The Director of Admission is a senior leader within the Enrollment Management Division, responsible for shaping and executing a strategic recruitment and enrollment plan aligned with the College's mission, goals, and financial sustainability. This position provides operational and visionary leadership to the Office of Admission and supports cross-functional initiatives across the enrollment funnel including recruitment, yield, marketing, data analytics, and transfer and access pipelines. The Director of Admissions reports directly to the Vice President of Enrollment Management.
As Director of Admissions you will:
- Develop and drive a comprehensive undergraduate recruitment strategy using data, market research, and demographic analysis
- Lead, mentor, and grow a dedicated admissions team grounded in accountability and inclusive excellence
- Manage the full recruitment cycle across first-year, transfer, adult learners, and CCP dual enrollment populations
- Oversee the Tuition Exchange Program including applicant education, documentation, and compliance monitoring
- Partner with Marketing, Financial Aid, Athletics, Academic Affairs, and Student Life on enrollment initiatives
- Leverage CRM systems, analytics tools, and performance dashboards to track progress and inform decisions
- Represent Marietta College at recruitment events, fairs, and conferences regionally and nationally
Qualified candidates will have:
- A bachelor's degree (master's preferred)
- Minimum of five years of progressive college admissions experience with increasing leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated success in team leadership and supervision of a high-performing team
- Hands-on expertise with CRM platforms such as Slate or Salesforce and enrollment analytics
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills across diverse audiences
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally and nationally as needed
