Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to maintain a spotless environment
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely while maintaining their proper functioning through regular upkeep
• Manage floor care routines including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and outdoor work when necessary to preserve flooring quality
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or large items safely using manual handling techniques
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with services rendered

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
• Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, and sanitation practices
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals along with proper safety procedures for their use
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments efficiently within scheduled timeframes
• Customer service oriented mindset with strong communication skills for client interaction and feedback collection
• Physical stamina for outdoor work experience and heavy lifting requirements; ability to stand, bend, lift, and move comfortably throughout shifts
