Premier offset and digital printing company in TN is searching to hire an experienced Prepress Lead Operator to direct and oversee prepress operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise small group of prepress operators.
- Participate in prepress operations as the Prepress Lead in the department.
- Oversee production workflow, scheduling and staffing to ensure jobs are completed on time and on budget meeting and or exceeding client specifications.
- Review and approve jobs before moving to the next stage.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.
- Hire, train, and evaluate team members.
- Support cross-department communication and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years' prepress leadership and/or Team Lead experience.
- 5 years of desktop publishing experience; proficient on Adobe Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of CTP workflow.
- Excellent knowledge of color management.
- Strong technical knowledge of prepress and printing processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and employee training experience.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and prioritize effectively.
Starting base salary $30 - $35/hr benefits, 401k match, and relocation assistance.
