General Statement Of Responsibilities And Principal Duties
Description of Job / Duties - Academic Coach (High School)
- Education level: Secondary/High School.
- Train and coach high school teachers and administrators on scientifically based strategies for instruction to ensure development of quality intervention programs and to strengthen teaching skills. Work closely with teachers and administrators to interpret data and help develop programs that directly relate to increasing student achievement through three distinct levels of intervention. Provide non-evaluative support to beginning, new, and struggling teachers and provide regular reporting to the administrators on their activities and progress. Plan, coordinate, implement, and deliver professional development for instructional staff.
- Valid Arizona teaching credential and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Master’s in Education or Related Field Required
- Minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience Required
