The Welcome Desk Support serves as the first point of contact and provides front-line assistance to new and continuing students with admissions, records, and registration services in a high-traffic, customer-focused environment. This position supports operations at the Welcome Desk and Enrollment Center lobby, ensuring timely service, accurate referrals, and compliance with FERPA and other applicable regulations. The Welcome Desk Support works collaboratively with the team, assists with administrative functions, participates in campus tours, and performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
30% Provides front-line support at the Welcome Desk and Enrollment Center lobby with a strong emphasis on customer service, timely assistance, and accurate referrals to other student service departments.
30% Assists both new and continuing students with self-service tasks within the Student Center, including admissions, records, and registration functions.
20% Ensures accurate updates to student records in compliance with FERPA and all applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
10% - Works in a team environment, attend meetings, provide functional support for A&R management team and may serve on committees or be assigned to document imaging records, or compose, edit and prepare correspondence.
5% - Assist with small group campus tours, including preparing materials and facilitating tours for new and prospective students
5% - Performs other related duties as assigned
