Job Summary
The purpose of this position in the Admissions & Records Contact Center at Mesa Community College is to provide comprehensive support to students seeking assistance with resolving admissions, records, registration, and payment related services in a one-stop enrollment services model to new and continuing students with high levels of accuracy and customer service.
Essential Functions
- Administer Information over the phone related to students accounts for registration, admissions, records and cashier’s. Process emails, Electronic dynamic forms, and take cashier payments.
- Provide customers with clear, complete and accurate responses to their questions and document interactions in the Student Information System(SIS)
- Ability to successfully use technology in relation to in person services Customer Relations Management (CRM), Student Information System (SIS), Google Suite (Gmail, Groups, Drive, and Calendar) and ASSIST software.
- Provide other Enrollment Services related support as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Customer service experience involving a high volume of public contact
- Experience managing multiple tasks within a process or procedure
- Effective interpersonal skills and written communication skills
- Experience working with a diverse student/customer population
- Experience working with computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and internet applications
Desired Qualifications
- Six month customer service experience
- Previous experience in higher education setting in a one-stop or enrollment services setting
- Associates degree or higher
Special Working Conditions
- Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate’s own expense
- May require working remotely
- May require some evenings or weekends
- May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen
- Work alternating open and close shifts
- May be required to lift or carry up to 25 pounds
