Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize large-scale data platforms on Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud-based data engineering, ETL development, and data warehousing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using modern data engineering practices.
Develop data solutions utilizing BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage.
Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency.
Implement data governance, security, and quality standards.
Collaborate with business and analytics teams to support reporting and AI initiatives. Required Skills
8 years of Data Engineering experience.
4 years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
Strong expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT development. Preferred Skills
Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Exposure to AI/ML and advanced analytics workloads.
Financial services or banking domain experience.
