About the Role
Save 653 is seeking a part-time Graphic Design Teacher to work with high school students on creative, project-based design activities. This is an exciting opportunity for either:
A college senior majoring in Graphic Design/Digital Media who wants to build teaching experience, or
A seasoned designer looking to mentor the next generation of creatives.
Schedule
Tuesdays & Thursdays
1 hour per session (in-person at Newark or Carlstadt NJ
Responsibilities
Lead engaging graphic design projects (posters, logos, digital media).
Teach design principles and introduce Adobe Creative Suite/Canva.
Provide feedback and mentorship to students.
Qualifications
Senior-level college student in Graphic Design/Visual Arts or professional design experience.
Strong design portfolio.
Excellent communication and ability to engage high school students.
Compensation
Hourly stipend, commensurate with experience.
