Key Responsibilities
As an Automotive Technician, you will:
- Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Inspect vehicle systems and components for safety and performance
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
- Use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to identify issues
- Communicate with the parts department to ensure timely repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper performance after repairs
- Clearly communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors
- Accurately estimate repair times and complete warranty work to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
