Pay Based On Experience And Qualifications

Arbor Care Specialists (ACS) is seeking experienced Tree Care professionals to join our growing team! Located in Wilton, CT and servicing properties across Fairfield and Westchester counties, you will work on high-end residential properties putting your arbor knowledge to good use in keeping our clients’ properties looking great!

We are looking for motivated and skilled Arbor Care Crew Members with 1-3 years of experience in climbing trees to join our dynamic team. You will assist with a variety of tree care services, including tree trimming, pruning, and removals. You will be responsible for safely climbing trees to perform these tasks, working alongside a team of arborists to deliver high-quality service to our clients. Bucket Operation and CDL license are a strong plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform trimming, pruning, and removal tasks.
• Assist in the removal of trees when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the process.
• Assist in general tree care duties, such as mulching, stump grinding, and site cleanup.
• Operate ground-based equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, and stump grinders, when required.
• Support the Crew Leader in daily operations and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Communicate job progress, timelines, and any issues to the Crew Leader to ensure customer expectations are met.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in climbing trees and performing tree care services, including pruning and removals.
• Familiarity with tree species, growth patterns, and general tree health is a plus.
• Experience using chainsaws, ropes, harnesses, and other tree climbing equipment.
• Knowledge of proper climbing techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate ground-based equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, and stump grinders.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working at heights and in challenging outdoor conditions.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
