What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marian High School, Mishawaka - Educational Assistant (Learning Strategies) - PHM position at Marian High School?
Marian High School is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant to support students in its Learning Strategies program. The EA will be an employee of the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation under the direct supervision of the Marian Director of Learning Strategies. Potential duties include one-on-one or small group support of students with identified or suspected disabilities or who are in monitoring for academic intervention. Data collection, record-keeping, test supervision, or other instructional support roles may also be requested. A qualified applicant will possess an Associates Degree or demonstrate the ability to pass the ParaPro exam. A qualified applicant will have experience working in the field of education, tutoring, special needs children or adults, and be able to pass all legal and district-required screening and employment requirements.
