Summary: The Advancement Services Manager is directly responsible for the comprehensive management of the donor database. This person will also manage general administrative duties and assist with events and projects. This position reports directly to the Director of Mission Advancement and works closely with other members of the Advancement Team and Business Office to ensure accurate and consistent records. Specifically will assist in the following areas: :
1. Oversee Donor Perfect Database :
Gift entry:
Gift acknowledgement :
Demographic updates (birth, death, marriage, etc):
Gift/demographic queries & reports:
Individual research/address verification :
Pledge Reminders:
Collaborate with Business Office to reconcile accounts:
2. Day to Day Reception Responsibilities:
Phone, Visitors :
3. Event Support :
Auction Item storage/cataloging:
Reports:
Acknowledgement preparation:
Proofreading:
Mail preparation:
Event clerical assistance:
4. Publication/Printed Material Support:
Create weekly school e-newsletter:
Coordinate mailing preparation for large mailings:
Update & maintain website:
7. Works as a collaborative team member to accomplish goals of Marian High School and the Advancement Office. Maintains all information in a highly confidential manner. Performs other duties related to job assignment.:
Requirements:
This position prefers nonprofit development database experience, the ability to work autonomously, and excellent teamwork skills and communication. The ideal candidate will be flexible, well organized and detail oriented. The Advancement Services Manager must have a bachelor’s degree and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Suite programs.:
