Maria’s Pizza, a longtime favorite in historic Bellefonte, PA, is looking for a dependable and motivated Cook to join our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in preparing quality food, and want to be part of a friendly team, we’d love to meet you.
Whether you have restaurant experience or are eager to learn, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
● Prepare pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, and other menu items according to our recipes and quality standards
● Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
● Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
● Work efficiently during busy meal periods
● Assist with food preparation, stocking, and cleaning as needed
● Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service
Qualifications
● Kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
● Positive attitude and strong work ethic
● Reliable and punctual
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
