High School Spanish Teacher

This is a full-time, on-site role for a High School Spanish Teacher at Maria Regina High School, located in Hartsdale, NY. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective Spanish language lessons, developing curriculum materials, and evaluating student progress. The teacher will create a supportive learning environment that promotes language proficiency, cultural understanding, and active participation among students. Collaboration with colleagues, participation in professional development, and involvement in school activities are essential aspects of this role.

• Proficiency in Spanish Teaching and the ability to facilitate language learning effectively.
• Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, tailored to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
• Strong foundational skills in Teaching and Education, with a focus on fostering language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• State certification or licensing for teaching Spanish at the high school level.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and respect for diverse cultural and individual backgrounds.
