Job Type: Full-time preferred; part-time evening shifts may be considered

Mari de Villa is hiring a Front Desk Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable using office technology while serving as a welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, prospective residents, and staff.

Job Type

Full-time preferred. Part-time candidates may be considered for evening shifts only.

Schedule

· Flexible schedule requirements

· Every other weekend required

· At Least two evening shifts per week required: 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

· Day shifts: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

· Part-time availability may be considered for evening shifts only

Responsibilities

· Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

· Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and prospective residents.

· Provide helpful information and direction at the front desk.

· Assist with general office work, clerical tasks, filing, data entry, and document preparation.

· Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and other office-related computer systems.

· Assist with scheduling, communication, and coordination between departments as needed.

· Help tour prospective residents and families through the building and/or campus when appropriate.

· Maintain a neat, organized, and professional front desk area.

· Represent Mari de Villa with professionalism, warmth, and hospitality.

Qualifications

· Must be proficient with office-related computer work, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.

· Friendly, professional, and customer-service focused.

· Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.

· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.

· Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.

· Comfortable interacting with residents, families, visitors, and staff.

· Prior reception, office assistant, hospitality, senior living, healthcare, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, stays organized in a busy front desk setting, and takes pride in creating a positive first impression. The right candidate will be comfortable answering phones, completing office tasks, using Microsoft Office programs, and interacting with older adults and their families.
