Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of donuts, frostings and baked goods, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools
- Bake, fry and decorate products carefully for delivery or display, ensuring presentation meets company standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace throughout each shift to uphold food safety regulations
- Assist in food handling and preparation tasks for high-volume production needs
- Follow all food safety management protocols, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients and finished items
- Support team members with a positive and customer-focused attitude
Qualifications
- Kitchen experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of dough manipulation and baking plus creativity and passion for food production
- Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes
- Ability to regularly lift 50-70 pounds
- Exceptional attitude towards team members, patience, speed, ability to remain calm under pressure, ability to receive constructive criticism and maintain a desire for continuous growth and quality production ** We can train any candidate with these qualities regardless of previous experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in the food industry or catering is highly desirable
- High-volume production experience preferred for managing large orders efficiently
