Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

General Accountabilities:

• Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, restaurant staff, and culinary production team.
• Helps guests select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties , identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
• Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guest choices and identifying guest special dietary needs and special requests .
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, drink orders, and being alert to guest spills, and other special needs.
• Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to guest.
• Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
• Deep cleans restaurant equipment (tables, chairs, booths, soda and juice dispensers, coffee machines), as scheduled, or required .
• Operates and maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months to one year of food server experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant preferred.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for lon g periods of time.
• Excel both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
• Must be able to obtain a Bossier ABO and LACT.
