JOB DESCRIPTION
The Margaritaville Island Hotel, in Pigeon Forge, TN is looking for an Executive Housekeeper Manager for our 134-room hotel located at the Island. The Executive HK Manager provides a strong presence for the team they oversee. They will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for our guests. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and managerial skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment needed for housekeeping operations.
- Oversee the inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all housekeeping activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Leadership skills.
- Computer skills to input information.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or related field is required.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, including floor care and custodial practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels within the organization.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations.
Job Type: Full-time Salary Pay: $50,000 - $60,000
