Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for housekeeping operations
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the housekeeping department
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards
- Train, mentor, and inspire a team of housekeeping professionals
- Implement and maintain efficient operational processes
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and expectations
- Manage budgets, inventory, and procurement of housekeeping supplies
- Monitor and evaluate department performance and implement improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and industry trends
- Proficiency in housekeeping software and technology
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as needed
