Responsibilities
Responsibilities:• Provide outstanding table service during banquets, corporate events, meetings, and special celebrations• Set up banquet rooms, tables, linens, décor, and service stations according to event guidelines• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly, upbeat, island-inspired attitude• Assist in event breakdown and room reset with attention to detail and cleanliness• Communicate with banquet captain and team to ensure smooth event flow• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverage offerings, and special requests• Follow safety, sanitation, and Margaritaville hospitality standards• Create a welcoming environment by engaging with guests in true tropical fashion
Qualifications
- Qualifications:• Previous serving or banquet experience preferred but not required• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay cool like a breeze off the coast• Excellent communication and teamwork skills• Must be able to stand and move for extended periods, carry trays, and lift up to 30–40 lbs• Flexible schedule—weekends, holidays, and event evenings may be required• Positive attitude and a passion for guest satisfaction
