🌴 Position Summary
At Margaritaville Hotel, we believe in creating unforgettable experiences one drink at a time. The Banquet Bartender plays a key role in bringing island vibes to events—from weddings and conferences to corporate groups looking to unwind. This role is responsible for crafting beverages with flair, delivering exceptional guest service, and keeping the party flowing in true Margaritaville style.
🦜 Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to banquet guests with speed, accuracy, and hospitality.
Create an upbeat and friendly atmosphere that reflects Margaritaville’s laid-back island spirit.
Set up and break down portable bars, stock supplies, garnish prep, and ensure event bars are fully operational.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented bar throughout service.
Verify guest age/ID in accordance with state alcohol laws and company policies.
Engage guests with conversation, recommendations, and cheerful energy.
Monitor and manage beverage consumption responsibly; follow all safety and TIPS guidelines.
Process payments/tickets when required and accurately reconcile cash or bar tabs.
Assist banquet servers and team members before, during, and after events.
Respond quickly to guest needs and ensure service satisfaction from first pour to last call.
Qualifications
🎶 Qualifications & Experience
Previous bartending experience required; banquet experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced event setting with large volumes.
Must be 18/21 depending on local alcohol service regulations.
Positive attitude, team spirit, and love for guest interaction.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Food Handler and Alcohol Certification required or able to obtain.
