Role
The Marketing Project & Production Manager leads the planning, coordination, and execution of all creative initiatives across Margaritaville at Sea. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of integrated brand campaigns, shipboard collateral, onboard experiences, and marketing assets—from concept through final production and deployment.
Positioned at the intersection of Creative, Marketing, and Operations, this role brings structure and efficiency to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Marketing Project & Production Manager oversees campaign timelines, manages ship-specific requirements, and coordinates complex production logistics to ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Project Management & Workflow: Own end-to-end project management across all creative initiatives, including brand campaigns, onboard collateral, and sales/marketing materials. Develop and maintain master timelines that align campaign launches with sailing schedules and operational deadlines, while leading weekly creative status meetings to ensure visibility into progress, risks, and priorities. Establish and continuously improve project management systems (e.g., Monday, Asana) to streamline intake, prioritization, and execution, ensuring all projects are clearly scoped, properly briefed, and aligned before entering creative development.
- Campaign & Marketing Execution: Monitor and assess the performance of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Provide detailed reporting on KPIs such as conversion rates, ROI, and customer acquisition to guide optimization efforts.
- Shipboard Creative & Collateral Management: Oversee the development, production, and delivery of all shipboard creative assets, including signage, wayfinding, stateroom collateral, food and beverage menus, and event materials. Manage timelines and logistics to ensure materials are produced, shipped, and installed in alignment with sailing schedules. Maintain both physical and digital archives for version control and brand consistency, while partnering with onboard teams to gather feedback and continuously enhance the guest experience.
- Digital & Onboard Systems: Coordinate the creation and deployment of content for onboard digital systems, including YoDeck screens and in-room TV channels. Manage content calendars to ensure timely updates aligned with programming, promotions, and campaigns, and collaborate with IT and onboard teams to ensure proper formatting, delivery, and playback across all systems.
- Production & Vendor Management: Oversee all aspects of production across print, digital, and video, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage. Source, manage, and maintain relationships with external vendors, including creative agencies, production partners, printers, and fabricators. Build and refine a vetted roster of approved partners to support scalable, high-quality execution.
- Budget Management: Track project costs, identify efficiencies, and ensure all initiatives are delivered within budget. Review and negotiate estimates, scopes of work, and production bids to maximize value while maintaining creative and production standards.
- Creative Operations & Process Improvement: Drive operational excellence by streamlining creative workflows and approval processes, ensuring clear communication and efficient feedback loops. Act as the central hub for all creative requests, aligning prioritization with business objectives. Partner with Creative leadership to uphold brand standards and consistency, and develop reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into team performance, output, and overall effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of integrated campaign development and multi-channel production
- Proven ability to manage print, digital, and video production workflows
- Experience managing complex timelines with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Monday, Wrike, or Smartsheet
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in creative project management, production, or agency environments
- Experience in cruise, hospitality, travel, or entertainment industries preferred
- Familiarity with shipboard operations or multi-location brand environments a plus
- Experience managing onboard or environmental signage and collateral systems
- On-set production experience (photo/video shoots) preferred
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital signage systems
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to bring structure, discipline, and efficiency to complex, fast-paced workflows
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail across all deliverables, from print collateral to digital assets
- Comfortable navigating changing priorities, tight timelines, and ship-specific operational needs
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across Creative, Marketing, Operations, and external partners
- Proactively identifies challenges, develops solutions, and drives issues to resolution
- Clear and effective communicator, capable of aligning stakeholders and managing expectations at all levels
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: This role requires periodic travel, including time onboard company cruise ship vessels, to support marketing initiatives and gain operational insight.
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in-person.” Which means the physical office is in Orlando.
