Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Prek / GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) educator to join our team. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will be committed to early childhood education and possess the skills necessary to engage children in meaningful learning experiences.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Assess and monitor children's progress through observations and assessments, providing feedback to parents as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and the community to support children's growth.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Experience

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching young children.
